Year 2 enjoyed a busy day during their outdoor classroom day.

The children enjoyed using a variety of natural resources to support their learning about repeated addition and multiplication. In the afternoon, the children constructed islands including physical and human features to finish our Geography topic. They also concluded their Science work on changing seasons by talking about the changes from Autumn to Winter and filling a bauble with ‘colours of the season’. They practiced tying knots to construct a hanging tree which we will be using to display our wonderful bauble creations.

What a fabulous outdoor day. Well done, Year 2.
