School Uniform and Jewellery

Our school uniform is compulsory.

School Uniform

The school uniform consists of royal blue sweatshirt with the school motif, sky blue polo shirts, also with the school motif if desired, grey skirt or dresses and grey trousers. During the summer term pale blue and white checked dresses or knee length grey shorts can be worn.

Black school shoes should be worn at all times and Foundation children should have Velcro fastenings on their shoes in order to enable children to dress independently.

Shoes with laces should only be worn by children when the child can tie shoe laces without any help.

All school uniform items, except shoes, are available from Identity School Outfitters at Unit 2 Business Park, Peter Green Way , Barrow-in-Furness. School fleeces, bags and PE bags are also available.

School uniform can of course be purchased at different outlets throughout the local area.

We also operate a “new to you” uniform shop where Parents can buy good quality second hand uniform from school.

We would prefer it if nail varnish is not worn in School.

Jewellery

In the interests of safety, the wearing of jewellery in school is discouraged. Children can wear a wrist-watch. If your child has pierced ears, stud earrings can be worn but must be removed by the child for P.E. lessons; (they are then to be given to the child’s class teacher for safekeeping).

The school can accept no liability for the loss of items of jewellery.
