You Are Cherished

Today the whole school delivered a special Collective Worship called ‘You are cherished’. A special Collective Worship for Mothering Sunday.

We thought about what the Bible tells us and this led us to the Gospel of Matthew:

Matthew 19:19

‘Honor your Father and Mother, and love your neighbour as yourself’.

When we think of ‘Love your neighbour as yourself’, we know that if we are to love our neighbors unconditionally and generously, we will need to love ourselves that way too as well as all of our friends, families and relatives.

Today we shared this love through song and prayer where each class prepared a special performance for all the special ladies in our lives.
