Today, we opened our school reading shed that have been funded through the Rotary, the hard working RotaKids and Jason – all driven by Mrs Stubbs. Thanks also to FoLF who contributed to the cost of digging the footing for the shed and Charnley’s Home and Garden Centre for supporting us with the purchase and storing the shed until Steve was able to build it.
Dr Johnson from the Rotary, opened our shed with a wonderful quote from Jorge Luis Borges – “I have always imagined that paradise will be a kind of library.”
All of the children were so excited to begin to read all the exciting new books.
