KS1 enjoyed a visit from Ulverston Fire Service to support their learning about The Great Fire of London. The firefighters spoke to the children about the fire, how we can stay safe and what to do should they see a fire. They then set fire to houses built by the children, so they could see how quickly the materials would have set on fire, before safely putting the fire out. The children passed along a bucket of water as they would have done in the past and also had a go on the modern day hose!
