On Sunday, we gathered with the members of St Mary’s and St Michael’s Church and residents of the parish to take part in Great Urswicks 121st annual Rushbearing procession. This year’s queen was Florence who was supported by her lady in waiting Lucy.
After a procession around the village and a short Church service we met in the Parish Room to share tea and gingerbread.
