Year 5 & 6 Collective Worship led a beautiful collective worship this morning about God’s World.
Genesis 1:26
“Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
God wants us to care for the whole of his creation which is the whole world. Year 5 & 6 helped us to think about this by sharing their learning in Geography & English. They included their fantastic work on our planet and the effects humans are having on it. This included the effects of climate change as a result of global warming and how this is damaging the biome and others by warming up our planet.
The whole school thought about how our world is special and what we can do to look after God’s creation.
