Year 4 Collective Worship – The story of Simeon and Anna

Luke 2:22-40

Thank you to our Year 4 class who led us through a beautiful Collective Worship this morning.

The children retold the story of Simeon and Anna through drama and acting. They helped us to see how the story teaches trust and hope by showing us that Simeon and Anna waited patiently for the coming of the Messiah.

To reflect on the story, Year 4 created a wonderful ‘Hope & Trust’ tree and invited us all to share our offerings of hope and trust. A perfect first class led collective worship of 2026.
