We had a lovely afternoon for Sports Day. As you can see from their faces,Nursery children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were thrilled with all the support and encouragement they got from their team mates.

We have just had a Low Furness Bake off competition in aid of The Brain Tumor Charity . The theme of the competiition was rainbows with prizes awarded for creativity, flavour and overall appearance. It was a very tough job sampling so many yummy cakes according to the judges !

Our lovely Year 5 and 6 children pictured at the start of a fantastic educational and fun filled trip to Liverpool. 

This is Otis from our Reception class who was 5 last week.Instead of asking for presents for his birthday party he asked for donations of money for Urswick playground.

Mrs Stubbs had the pleasure of taking three representatives from School Council to present two treat baskets to the volunteers at At Mary's Hospice.

Everyone loved meeting our woolly visitors in school this week.

A group of our KS2 children attended Young Voices at Manchester Arena and had a fantastic time singing along with Tony Hadley ofSpandau Ballet fame !!

We were visited this week by travelling by Tuba, an interactive musical experience for the whole school.We even produced music by blowing through a hose pipe !! A huge thank you to the Friends of Low Furness for funding this, we all had a fantastic day.

Year 1 and 2 thoroughly enjoyed doing Forest Schools in the sunshine last week.
