On the 7th February a group of KS2 girls attended the Dance Platform show at Ulverston Victoria High School. They were perfect ambassadors for our school with an outstanding performance and exemplary  behaviour. Well done ladies.

As part of Book Week the whole school - Staff included - dressed up as their favourite book character. As you can see, Year 1 had a fantastic time!

To start off our Book Week in style, author Wes Magee paid us a visit.As well as giving us some top writing tips we also enjoyed some wonderful poetry, complete with actions !

On the 23rd January 2018, a group of our children travelled to Manchester to take part in the Young Voices concert. For the children, staff and parents this is one of the highlights of the year.

On Friday 12th January Oliver Cresswell came into school to present the School Games Gold Award .This award is in recognition of our many sporting activities all the children are taking part in.The year 6 Sports Leaders were very proud to accept this award and would like to say a very big thank y

Low Furness has great pleasure in welcoming Miss Martin, our lovely new year 2 teacher into school .She has settled in really quickly and is a very enthusiastic member of the team.

Have a lovely Christmas from all at Low Furness and a very happy and prosperous New Year . We look forward to welcoming you back on the 4th January 2018.

Friends of Low Furness would like to thank everone who came along and supported  them with the school Christmas Fayre. It was a lovely morning and really set off the start of the Christmas celebrations perfectly.
