Because we can't complete our usual sports day we have decided to do a sponsored walk. All members of our school will be walking or running as individuals.We will add our mileage together and hopefully walk from St Bees to Robin Hoods Bay.

We are very pleased and proud to announce that we have been awarded a Sports Award due to the number of our children who have taken part in sporting activities over the last year. Well done everyone !

The Governors would like to congratulate Anne and Tracey on cooking and coordinating a 'Meals on Wheels' delivery service to vulnerable people in our local community over the lockdown period.With the help of a team of bakers and delivery drivers they organised over 70 meals at a time and distribu

We celebrated our Science Day with a visit from the very entertaining Professor Bubbleworks. Each year group had a fantastic workshop. Everyone learnt a lot about high and low pressure and how an airplane stays in the air !

Year 4 have had a Buddhism day.It involved making origami Lotus flowers containing a message , a visit to the Manjushri Buddhist Temple and finished with them each making a  Loy Krathong. The children really enjoyed themselves and were extremely respectful in the Temple.

We had a lovely Wednesday this week when we invited the children's Grandparents in to school for the day. We would like to say a very special thank you to Granny Sausage for reading such a lovely story to the whole school, we all want a magic bag now !

Some of our teachers got together and created the characters from The Wizard of Oz  to help the children celebrate World Book Day. They looked AMAZING !!!!

Some of our  lovely Year 6 pupils enjoying Homework Club . As you can see, they're really enjoying themselves .

Our Courageous Advocates were very proud to present Emma from Cancer Care ( North Lancashire and South Cumbria branch)with a cheque for £320 recently. The money was raised from collections held by the Advocates at the end of the Christmas play performances.
